Precision Glue Dispensing for Cyanoacrylate, Anaerobic & UV Adhesives

ADoST PPS NXT

Stop Losing Production Quality to Inconsistent Adhesive Application

If you are running an automotive assembly line or producing medical devices, you already know the cost of inconsistent adhesive dispensing.

Too much adhesive means messy joints, rework, and material waste. Too little means bond failure, field returns, and warranty claims. Manual dispensing leaves the result entirely dependent on the operator, and no two operators dispense the same way.

The ADoST PPS-NXT eliminates that uncertainty. It is an electro-pneumatic, volumetric precision glue dispensing machine that deposits a controlled, repeatable amount of adhesive every single shot, every single shift. Whether your application uses Cyanoacrylate, Anaerobic, or UV adhesive, there is a variant of the PPS-NXT engineered for your specific fluid and process requirements.

Who is ADoST PPS-NXT made for?

The ADoST PPS-NXT is built for production and quality engineers in industries where adhesive dispensing is a critical process step, not an afterthought.

You will find this machine useful if:

  • You are bonding components on a high-speed automotive assembly line and need every shot to be consistent, regardless of who operates the machine.
  • You manufacture medical devices and need dispensing accuracy your quality audit can stand behind.
  • You are currently using manual syringes or basic timer-only dispensers and facing lot-to-lot variation in bond strength.
  • You have tried other dispensers but found them difficult to set up, recalibrate, or integrate with your line.
  • You need a system that can grow with your process, from manual operation today to robotic integration tomorrow.

If any of the above describes your situation, the PPS-NXT was designed for exactly this.

The Real Problems ADoST PPS-NXT Machine Solves

Problem 1 — Inconsistent Dispensing from Operator to Operator

In most manual or semi-automated setups, the operator decides how long to press and how much comes out. When shifts change or a new operator comes in, the bond quality changes too. The PPS-NXT uses volumetric control — meaning the machine measures and controls the amount dispensed digitally, not by feel. The result: ±0.005gm accuracy regardless of who is running the machine.

This issue is especially critical in dispensing of Loctite adhesives such as Loctite 243, where micro dispensing is the norm and even small variations in adhesive volume can affect break-away torque and long-term reliability of the assembly.

Problem 2 — No Visibility Into What Is Actually Being Dispensed

Traditional dispensers give you no data. You only know something went wrong when a finished part fails inspection. The PPS-NXT tracks live drop sequence count and monitors operating pressure in real time. You can see exactly how many shots have been dispensed at any point in the shift, and any deviation in pressure is visible before it becomes a defect.

Problem 3 — Unplanned Stoppages Due to Adhesive Running Out

On a fast-moving assembly line, an empty Loctite adhesive bottle means an unplanned stoppage. The PPS-NXT has a software-based low-level alert that notifies the operator when the bottle is running low, ensuring there is no false dispensing.

Problem 4 — Complex Changeovers When Running Multiple Products

If your line runs more than one product, switching between them in a basic dispensing unit is time-consuming and error-prone. The PPS-NXT stores up to 50 dispensing programs, each password-protected. Changing over is a matter of selecting the right program, not recalibrating from scratch.

Problem 5 — Adhesive Reaching the Valve, Not the Part

For larger or awkwardly shaped parts where a fixed valve cannot reach the bonding surface, the PPS-NXT supports a hand-held dispensing pen connected via tubing. Adhesive is dispensed from the machine, delivered through the tube, and released exactly where the operator positions the pen, giving precision even on non-standard parts. Weather Anaerobic, Cyanoacrylate or UV Adhesive, ADoST Pen delivers with same precision.

How the ADoST PPS-NXT Works

The PPS-NXT consists of three units — a Main Control Unit (MCU), a Sub Control Unit (SCU) and a Reservoir. The Reservoir holds the adhesive bottle while SCU uses regulated air pressure to push the fluid. The MCU controls the dispensing cycle digitally, determining both the timing and volume of each shot.

The adhesive travels from the reservoir through a pinch tube — a consumable tube that is compressed by the ADoST Pinch valve mechanism to release a precise quantity. Because the pinch tube is the only component in direct contact with the adhesive, maintenance is super simple: replace the tube, and the machine is ready again.

The system can operate in two modes:

  • Timer Mode — The operator/auto sensor triggers a dispense for a set interval, suitable for line-integrated operation.
  • Manual Mode — The operator triggers each shot, giving flexibility for batch work or complex assemblies.

For full automation, the PPS-NXT can be connected to an automatic part presence sensor that triggers glue dispensing only when a part is detected — eliminating false shots and adhesive waste entirely. It can also be integrated with benchtop robots for high-speed, fully automated deployment.
